Wyoming Military Dept Joint Forces Readiness Center Complex

Cheyenne, WY | This project consists of two separate buildings – the Joint Forces Readiness Center (JFRC) and the Field Maintenance Shop (FMS), totaling 173,000 square feet.
New offices, classrooms, conference rooms, simulation/simulated weapons training areas, kitchen/cafe, and locker rooms are featured within the JFRC, a 145,000 square foot steel structure on spread footings. The FMS houses military vehicle and equipment maintenance operations, office space and storage within its masonry structure.
The FMS building earned LEED® Silver Certification, and the JFRC has earned LEED® Gold. Some sustainable features of this project include a horizontal geothermal system, extensive daylighting, construction waste recycling, water-efficient landscaping, lighting controls and enhanced commissioning
